Courtney has been working in animal care for the past 15 years. She began her career working as a veterinary technician in emergency and general practice veterinary clinics, and then moved to shelter and specialty medicine. Courtney worked at the Humane Society in Clearwater, FL, in the admissions department connecting owners with available resources, as well as supporting the medical and foster teams. Courtney has also been active in fostering pets since 2010, primarily kittens with the occasional cat or dog when able.
Courtney recently moved back to the Sacramento area to be near family after spending 4 years in Florida and 2 years in Arizona. She currently lives with her partner and their babies (a dog named Mortimer Eugine, and three cats: Tippy LaRue, Joey, and Theodore Bonkers).
