Sometimes the neediest pets in the shelter are the hardest to place in homes. This is particularly true of animals with medical conditions that can’t be fixed, and will need medication and treatment for the rest of their lives.
We believe that money shouldn’t keep a loving family from providing a home to a pet in need of hospice care. When the vet team at Front Street determines that an adoptable animal will need this care, Friends of Front Street covers the cost of treatment for the life of the pet, so their adoptive families can spend their time and money giving them the best life possible in the time they have left.
